Makeup Schools in Manila - Nov, 2011

I've been searching for Makeup schools here in Manila. I really want to learn the science and principles of it. Here's my research on my prospect school:

1. Maquillage Professionnel

Classes are held at Modern Academy (Forbes Town Center, Rizal Drive corner Burgos Circle, Fort Bonifacio Global City Taguig) and MAKE UP FOR EVER Studio (Bonifacio High Street)

Module 1: Facial Beauty and Fashion Make Up for Professional Artists.

Nov.7-Nov.24(1pm-5pm)weekday

Nov.12-Feb.18(6pm-10pm)every Saturday

The rate for this module is P30, 000 (VAT inclusive).

This 50-hours module includes:

Daily lecture and demonstration by instructor

Daily  hands-on training

Free use of MAKE UP FOR EVER products during the hands-on training sessions

Internship for qualified students

Lifetime membership in the Backstage Pass Program

Module 2: Advanced Beauty, Photography, and High Fashion Make Up for Professional Artists.

The schedules are as follows:

Nov.7-Nov.24(6pm-10pm)weekday

Nov.12-Feb.18(1pm-5pm)every Saturday

The rate for this module is P35, 000 (VAT inclusive).

This 50-hours module includes:

Daily lecture and demonstration by instructor

Daily  hands-on training

2. CAS (Center for Aesthetic Studies)

Classes are held at 2/F Franck Provost Building, 120 Jupiter St. Bel-Air Village, Makati City

Basic Make-Up Artistry Schedules: 

MWF - 1pm to 5pm

MWF - 6:30pm to 10:30pm

TTh - 1pm to 5pm

TTh - 6:30pm to 10:30pm

Saturdays - 8am to 5pm

Basic Make-Up Artistry covers all the essentials for professional make-up artists. You will learn skin care, personal make-up application and professional make-up application for different events like bridal, runway and haute couture (high fashion), glam, avante-garde, etc. It also includes period make-up and make-up theory. This course can be taken by those with zero knowledge to those who have some experience in putting on make-up.

Course Fee: Php22,000. The other fees you need to pay are: P1,455 for the Uniform etc. (CAS polo shirt, apron, pin, ID/Lace, make-up cape, handouts), P1,000 for the CAS privilege card and P2,100 for the class photo shoot. The total is P26,555

3. HD Makeup Studio and Academy (Formerly Basement Academy)


Classes are held at LG5 (lower ground), City & Land Mega Plaza, ADB Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City

HD Beauty and Fashion Makeup ( 2 Weeks,4 to 5 hrs per meeting, 32 to 40 Hours Total)
